Licensee Status Inquiries

You may check the status of real estate salesperson, broker, and corporate licensees online.  However, before you do, please take a minute and review the information below on how to use the inquiry screen.

Actions Against Unlicensed Persons

The Department publishes monthly a list of names of persons and businesses which have been found to have been conducting real estate activities without a license.  See Desist and Refrain Orders for Unlicensed Activities.

Out-of-Date License Information

If your license record reflects information which is no longer current (wrong address, employing broker, etc.), you can use the eLicensing online system to update your license record immediately.

Or, you may notify the DRE using the appropriate change request form:

• Salesperson Change Application (RE 214)
• Broker Change Application (RE 204)
• Corporation Change Application (RE 204A)
